CrestPoint Environmental Management Service (CEMS) Platform In accordance with FedRAMP requirements and policies, CrestPoint Solutions has completed the FedRAMP review process and is ready to support agency requests. The CrestPoint Environmental Management Service (CEMS) Platform or the Unified FME Platform is delivered as a SaaS offering using a multi-tenant Public Cloud computing environment. It is a multipurpose modular system available to hospitals, healthcare facilities, data centers, public commercial facilities, federal, state, local, and tribal governments, as well as research institutions, federal contractors, and government contractors. The system is used by mission-critical facilities such as hospitals and data centers for managing operational and facility data including infrastructure data and asset management. For VA hospitals and other healthcare facilities, CEMS helps the EVS team manage infection prevention efforts. It provides the necessary oversight to manage and monitor EVS operations in a consolidated approach for the following EVS scopes of service: managing and tracking quality inspections and deficiencies for performance improvement, tracking bed turnover, reporting and analyzing textile care production data and cost of operations, managing day-to-day EVS key performance metrics, managing EVS key performance indicators (KPI), and incorporating integrated pest management (IPM) actions taken to address identified/reported deficiencies. CEMS was uniquely designed to efficiently help EVS Leadership manage regulatory mandates such as the VHA Directive 1850 and others like The Joint Commission (TJC) Environment of Care (EC) Standards, CDC Sanitization Guidelines, CMS Infection Control, EPA/OSHA Medical Waste Regulations, Healthcare Laundry Accreditation Council (HLAC) Standards, and Integrated Pest Management (IPM) Protocols. These are mandated directives. Failure to adequately track infection prevention efforts, the various deficiencies, and the management of the EVS Key Performance Indicators (KPI) will directly affect the health and well-being of veterans and patients. A possible consequence is an infection outbreak or even an epidemiological outbreak. As a result of these digital records, EVS staff and management have access to improved metrics that help put patients first, providing them with much better quality of care, faster response times and improved safety. Electronic records enable EVS teams to address patient needs in real time, eliminating wait times and backlog in EVS operations. For Data Centers and infrastructure management, CEMS provides an integrated detailed specification and graphical representation of equipment for capacity planning. CEMS is used for power, space, and power requirements. It facilitates the automation and verification of scheduled and preventative maintenance, true-ups and end-of-life notifications. CEMS addresses today's critical infrastructure challenges such as: floor space management, network connectivity, asset management, live power and environmental monitoring, critical AC - DC power systems, integrates with live data, Intelligent business analytics. It has the capability for multiple site management, measures PUE and/or DCiE, capacity planning, an intuitive, web-based graphical user interface (GUI), online collaboration and scheduling tools, easily manages work orders and resources, and provides a centralized repository for site drawings.
