F5 Distributed Cloud Services is a security and networking platform that provides PaaS-delivered application services and deployable edge-based software components. The platform includes Web Application Firewall (WAF), API security, L7 DDoS mitigation, DNS, secure multi-cloud networking, and observability. Services are delivered via US-based points of presence and can also be deployed on deployable customer edge (CE) software nodes to support hybrid and on-premises environments. For FedRAMP-authorized use, F5 enforces strict controls to ensure that system logs and customer data are processed and stored exclusively within U.S. regions.
